🦁Chelsea vs 🐓 Tottenham a Classic London Darby.

Two of London’s seven teams will meet today in an epic battle to decide whether London will be blue or… a slightly darker shade of blue.

🏟️ Match Breakdown:

Both Need a Win to build momentum with a tough 8 games remaining. Chelsea can climb back into 4th with a win and leapfrog City and Newcastle who sit in 4th and 5th respectively. Spurs are languishing in the bottom half of the table holding onto 14th. A far cry from their 5th place finish in the 23/24 season.

📋️ Coaches

🦁 Enzo Maresca
Maresca took over Chelsea last summer after guiding Leicester City to a Championship title. A former assistant to Pep Guardiola at Man City, his tactical DNA blends possession-heavy build-up with sharp attacking transitions.

Still early in his Stamford Bridge tenure, the Italian coach has shown glimpses of promise but hasn't yet won over the fans. A champions league spot should be enough to solidify his job for next year. But one can never truly know with Chelsea.

🐓Ange Postecoglou
Ange arrived at Spurs in 2023 after an impressive stint at Celtic, where he won a domestic treble. The Greek Aussie is known for his bold, high-line, all-gas-no-brakes attacking football — and his incredible last name.

He won over Spurs fans early with his vibes and attacking flair, but a leaky defense and poor recent form have raised questions. With Spurs sitting in 14th and goals flying in at both ends, supporters are divided. But nothing says “give me another chance”, like beating your cross-town rivals.

🍕 Extra Slice

The Special One

Following Fenerbahçe’s Turkish Cup loss to Galatasaray, former Chelsea and Tottenham coach José Mourinho, pinched the nose of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk. Not wanting to set a bad example for his team, Buruk made sure to hit the ground immediately writhing around in pain and clutching random parts of his face.

Mourinho who is known for his mind games, may have taken things a bit too far this time. Although some are rushing to his defense and saying that Mourinho was ”just playing” its been said Mourinho made a “Honk Honk” sound while squeezing said nose. Others are saying Mourinho said quote: “I’ve got your nose” after Buruk went down. Whatever the truth is, we’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
